About Dr. Valerie Schutyser - Fertility doctor
Dr. Valerie Schutyser graduated from Ghent University in 2007. She specialized in gynaecology and obstetrics under the direction of Professor Paul Devroey at the VUB. Doctor Schutyser further specialized in fertility and reproductive surgery. She was recognized as a subspecialist in reproductive medicine by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the European board and college of Obsestrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG). For 8 years she worked at the UZ Brussel Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRG) in Jette, where she was head of reproductive surgery for the last years.
As of August 2021, she changes direction at LIFE - Leuven Institute for Fertility and Embryology, the Unit for Reproductive Medicine at the Heilig Hartziekenhuis (URG/LIFE) and patients can also visit her private practice. Here, as in the hospital, a personal and professional approach is central.
